Assam Government Recruitment 2020: Applications in Standard Form of Application as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX are invited from interested candidates who are bonafide citizen of India vide Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of following vacant posts under the establishment of the Inspectorate of Electricity, Assam.

Name of the post: Junior Assistant Grade-III

No of post: 02 Posts (UR: 01, MOBC/OBC: 01)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000-49000 /- + GP= Rs. 6200 /- (PB-2)

Educational Qualification:

(a) A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

(b) Must possess Diploma in computer skills for handling data and text on computer typing both English and Assamese.

Eligibility:

(1) Candidates must be Citizen of India within meaning of Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

(2) Candidates must not be of age less than 18 years and more than 43 years as on 1st January 2020. However the upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC, ST & other candidates as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04, Did. 3rd March’ 2016.

(3) Candidates applying for the above posts must possess the prescribed minimum qualification mentioned above.

(4) Candidates, who are already employed, should submit their application through proper channel.

(5) Candidates will have to appear for written test/computer proficiencies test at their own expenses if and when called for.



(6) The candidates qualifying in the written test shall be called for Computer skill test and original documents verification process.

(7) Incomplete and wrongly filled in application form will be rejected and no appeal and/or correction in that regard shall be entertained.

(8) The envelope containing the application should be clearly subscribed as “Application for the post of Junior Assistant”.

(9) The applications are to be submitted with the following requisites attached thereto:

• (a) One self addressed envelope of 5 Cm X I I Cm affixing unused postal stamp of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five Only).
• (b) Self- attested copies of all certificates in support of’ Educational & other Qualification, Age etc.
• (c) 2(two) copies of recent passport photographs signed and dated by the candidate on reverse side of those.
• (d) Self- attested copy of valid Registration Certificates of Employment Exchange.

(10) Pension Scheme: “Government servants joining the service of the State Govt. on or after 1st Feb./05 shall not be governed by the existing Assam Services (Pension) Rules, 1969 and orders issued there under from time to time. So far as their pension and other retirement benefits are concerned, they will be governed by a new set of Pension Rules formulated in line with the Contributory Pension Scheme announced by the Govt. of India vide Finance Deptt. Circular No.BW3/ 2003/pt.-1/ 1, Dtd. 25th January/05″.

(11 ) Any postal delay in the process of this matter shall not be a matter of responsibility of the undersigned.

(12) Canvassing directly or indirectly will be deemed to be appropriate ground for disqualification of the candidature.

(13) The undersigned reserves the right to accept. modify ‘or cancel the advertisement and to cancel or postpone written test/ interview without
assigning any reason thereof.

(14) Candidates should note that authorities may subsequently prepare a short list from the applicants by fixing of cut off level and only those candidates who would qualify to enter the short list may be called for written test.

(15) Last date of submission of application to the undersigned is 07th April 2020 during office hours.

(16) The applications are to be submitted to the undersigned on or before the last date of submission of application. Application received after the last date of submission of application will not be entertained.

(17) The candidates should submit their application to the Chief Electrical Inspector-cum-Adviser, Assam 1st Floor, West End Block, Housefed Complex, Dispur, Guwahat-06.
